Our historic Ranch lies 7 miles west of town on Highway 40. Renowned over the years as an iconic Routt County equestrian center, the ranch provides the equestrian with a variety of amenities both in summer and winter. With an indoor arena barn and two outdoor arenas, the ranch The Ranch is home to over 40 acres of equestrian facilities. We have an indoor riding arena, outdoor riding facilities, barn, boarding stalls and provisions for kids. Check the events for upcoming camps & classes. Saddle Mountain Ranch offers a full selection of riding lessons. We’ve got programs for kids as well! We love kids! In fact, we love them so much we’ve created special programs for kids to learn to ride. Our kids camps are held several times each summer so check the calendar for dates of the next camp.

We provide all the gear so all you need to do is drop your child off for a day of fun. We also are big on responsibility. Caring for a horse is the most important aspect of equestrian sport. We teach kids the proper care and feeding of our horses.
