Your Instructors
Kimberly Sarri
Kimberly has been riding and competing with horses since she was six years old. Growing up in Virginia and Northern New Jersey she competed in the A Hunter/Jumper circuit. In 1999, she was the Sea Island Year End Adult Hunter Champion. She rode for the College of Charlestons Equestrian Team for Open Flat and Fences. Saari graduated from the College of Charleston in 2000, with a Bachelor of Science degree. She was active on the Southeasts Progressive Show Jumping circuit, as well as the North Florida Hunter/Jumper circuit with her horses Limited Edition and Harbor Pilot.
Since 2007, Kimberly has been a local art gallery owner and is a proud member of the Steamboat community. Kimberly has taught at Saddle Mountain Ranch previously and is happy to be back with her horse Pistol. She lives in Steamboat Springs with her husband and their three dogs.
Leigh Ann Smith
Leigh Ann has been riding horses for years. She grew up in Steamboat Springs and was in the Yampa Valley Pony Club. After spending time on the east coast, Leigh Ann moved to Fort Collins and remained involved in the horse world. She worked for a racehorse trainer, starting and riding thoroughbreds on the racetrack. Leigh Ann is now living in Steamboat again and very excited to be teaching and training at Saddle Mountain Ranch.
